Hey everyone! I'm baaaack from the con! Boy did I have a great time! I got to see some new faces and I also got to see some of the COOLEST WEBCOMIC ARTISTS in the whoooole STATE!

....yeah...I KNOW this Journal is late...but have I ever been good with journals! This is like a frikin miracle that Im talking right now....ahem! ANYWAY....

I registered for an art booth at AMA around Janurary and was so happy that I could finally use it and see if my Art skills were up to par! YAY!

FRIDAY... I finally find my booth with help of a cool Sanji Cosplayer. I set it up selling 3 different buttons. No one undertood the nintendo A and B button but they CERTAINLY understood the LOL one! ....maybe I'll post it here?...ANYWAY! Beside me was a very awesome Macha (hope I spelled that right) cosplayer from soul eater. She was selling raver stuff for the dance on Saturday while she attracted customers with the very AWESOME TWISTER MAT! I have to say, It really got people to come over. If not for buying stuff, just to play a fun round of twister.

I was not really 'organised' My stuff was a mess and was splattered everywhere. I had no organization for my booth and I didn't have any works printed out and I forgot my anime art portfolio at home....BUT I DID NOT GIVE UP!!!

I was greeted by such a cool Alice cosplayer who walked over to my table...you guys may know her as

She asked for a commission from me (I sold them that day for 3 dollars) a commision of herself. I happily drew her picture, inked it and then colored the contents. I hope she enjoyed it!

I was later greeted by a few other people asking for commisions...especially an Anti Sora chibi I managed to take a picture of. (I had to go find him at the con though to get it)

I gave the Macha cosplayer a drawing of Soul as well that night! I'm glad she was happy!

I also saw that day the coolest character ever. The red headed werewolf from Princess Ressurection. I WAS SO HAPPY! I took her picture!

I also attempted to make Katamari Hugs a new glomping game...but it failed...

Later that night, I began to be requested to make Funny ID's. Little ID's I made that had chibis, inked and colored doing something silly. I sold one to a Arracnar cosplayer (she cosplayed the pink haired on ewith glasses) along with a Miranda Cosplayer (who later sat at my booth cause she was that awesome...also...Miranda's awesome in general!)

Saturday: I head straight for the booths once more but find that every other owner of a table was gone. I was in a barren wasteland! So I decided to stroll around and see the panels. I found myself in a Voice Actor panel early morning, and to my astonishment, a voice actor from YYH! Now....for all those who do not know...I'm not a FANATIC FAN of YYH...but my Utah friends are! They adore it with a passion...so, I quickly call up on my cell and request the voice actor to talk to her. He happily agreed and spoke in that Heiei voice he does. After bidding her goodby, I thank him and ask what she thought. I was immediatley told to call up yet...she never answered.

....NOT TO WORRY HIKARI! LEAVE YOUR PHONE ON WHEN I GO TO ANOTHER CON AND I'LL MAKE SURE YOU GET TO TALK TO SOMEONE!!!!

Later on...I prepare to set up my booth and then get a great idea to make a SMASH BALL from SSBB! I ask the cool Macha girl to just watch my booth and a make a mad dash to target...right behind the con! There I meet up with a Cloud and Aries cosplayer, two awesome webcomic creators! I help them find some supplies and then await for my ride...that never showed up. Fustrated for waiting outside for 20 minutes, I storm back to the con, hot, sweaty, hungry, and rip roaring mad. I felt much better after drinking some of my juice and being visisted by the Miranda cosplayer (now wearing a Kyuubi human cosplay) I decided to take a stroll around the convention...I managed to poke my head in for the last few minutes of a webcomic panel (I only wish I could have gone to it earlier!) and low and behold...Two webcomic artists I SO ADORE WERE THERE! They are the creator's of the Draconia chronicles....if you havent read it...DO! Its pretty awesome! anyway...after the panel I talk to them....turns out they were requested at the last minute (friday night) to be guests...I have a new found love for Anime Mid Atlantic....VERY MUCH SO!!!!

I created the smash ball and went parading through the con with it throwing it at a Mario and Marth. They requested to use it for their group cosplay...why would I say no? ITS A SMASH BALL! They need their ultamite smash!

Also...to my joy....Macha cosplayer's friend that was selling art arrived that day...none other than FRIKIN (at least I hope that was and not me mistaking another cool artist I knew of) sitting beside me!!! I HOPED SHE WOULD SIT BY ME AND MY REJOICEMENT WAS SHOWN WITH THE HAPPY JIG....yet I gotta say...she's damn good at art! She's far greater than me!...I let her borrow some copics to draw with!

I made two new buttons that day to replace the nintendo sucky ones...and they did very well! I was very happy to see people enjoying my work! HECK! Even the IDs sold like yaoi! Everything went so well that day...I managed to get to the other webcomic panel that day and ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING! FUAH! Thats a good day! I was visited by so many friends at my booth while actually having some buisness (I also raised the price of IDs and commisions that day to 4 dollars...my family thought it should have been more!)

Macha girl was being eaten alive as the ravers approached her, buying her amazing selection of rave attire. Glowsticks, cool hair thingys, and socktapi! (I wish I bought one!) It seemed sucessful for all! I did not personally go to the rave...I just clinged on to the cool webcomic people and chatted with them for a while....I let my friend Streetfighter Fry!!!! (Dressed as Ken masters) watch my booth. There wasn't going to be any more customers that night...everyone was at the rave...and he had to rest...and he made friends with the girls by the next booth.

SUNDAY: I went into the con, dumped my stuff under my table adn ran to the dealer's section. With the art money I made, I bought a Eureka Seven season 1 boxset, a really cool cellphone keychain, a webcomic book, a Nadja Doll (OMFG IT WAS NADJAAAAAA!!!) and a few trinkets that I got for free. I did a comission for a Squarenix fan...I say she was a Squarenix fan since she asked my for two parirings...AxenXRoxas...and ZackXCloud.....I think I did pretty good with the Zack and Cloud...showed some tounge in that one...EHHEHEHHEH!

And thus ended my trip to the con....and when I returned...I realised I had not much more ambition for doing forum RPs or surfing the internet as much as I used to...Instead...I AM GOING NUTS ON WEBCOMICS!!! I hope to post one to you guys soon!!!

As for the bootage from RP part....yeah....I go on one of my RPs to find that my character was deleted since I was so innactive. I told them...I had no clue, meaning I was at the con and before that, was getting used to a new computer...also I dont check my MSM e-mail that much. They took it the wrong way and BOOTED me along with my friend. My friend said to me though "don't take it badly, we can find a cooler Forum to rp in..."

"can it be a chibi forum rp?....where everyone has to rp as a chibi?" I asked.

"Sure...sounds like fun"

...though that night I did manage to find out I was still logged into the forum RP...so I said a goodbye apologising for anything I did to offend them...they kinda insulted me and banned me CORRECTLY this time. Oh well....their loss I suppose as my friend would say! I still have the ever so cool FIRST RP I had ever done....OH DAMN!....I havent posted in a while.....I feel mighty guilty for that....

...thats the only RP I will never depart from Unless banned. Its so much fun!

But yeah...that was my wonderous time at the con and My first booty on a forum rp. We win some and loose some....I lost a interesting RP...but I gained new ambition for my art!

....maybe I should do a whole comic about my experience at this con???
